public class COptQuestFixFloatGroup extends Object
COptQuestFixFloatGroup is a set of decision variables that the optimizer searches separately from the other variables, near the best solution found so far. A group is either a fix group or a float group.

After an initial part of the search, the optimizer makes one more trial solution from each new trial solution for each group. For a fix group, the members of the group have the values of the best solution, and all the other variables keep the values of the new trial solution. For a float group, the members keep the values of the new trial solution, and all the other variables have the values of the best solution. The optimizer also evaluates the new trial solution, and it does not evaluate a trial solution that duplicates one it already has. The length of the initial part increases with the number of variables. The optimizer counts these trial solutions in the iteration budget.

With a fix group of a set of variables, the optimizer makes the same trial solutions as with a float group of all the other decision variables, so declare the smaller set. For a group with no members and for a group that holds every decision variable, the optimizer makes no extra trial solutions.
