public class COptQuestStudentTRandomVariable
extends COptQuestUserControlledVariable

A random variable with a Student's t distribution. The values spread symmetrically around 0, and values far from 0 are more likely than with a standard normal distribution. df, the degrees of freedom, is a positive integer. With more degrees of freedom, the distribution is closer to the standard normal distribution.

The engine draws a new value at the start of every replication. The probability distribution is COptQuestTDistribution.

name - the name/identifier of this random variable (used for reporting, logging, or display purposes)

df - the degrees of freedom for the t-distribution (must be positive, typically ≥ 1)
